After Dinner Activities: A Night Out in Morristown

Catch a Movie

If you’re looking for something relaxing, or maybe a date night idea, take a walk or very short drive to the AMC Headquarters Plaza 10. Better than your average theater, this AMC has large, plush seats that recline all the way back. Grab some popcorn, lean back, put your feet up, and enjoy! New movies tend to sell out quick, so make sure to get there early. 

Hit The Bars

Morristown is host to many popular bars, most of which are located right next to each other, making bar hopping much easier. Stroll down the street to the popular Iron Bar or Sona Thirteen. Or if you are looking for more of an Irish pub feel, head over to the three-story Grasshopper off the Green. 

Take a Stroll Through the Green

A more serene option is to walk through the Morristown Green. This quaint park in the center of town is host to a beautiful green landscape in the warmer months and an abundance of Christmas lights during the holidays. Enjoy a moment of peace within the hustle and bustle of the city streets. Take a rest on one of the benches and enjoy a tasty dessert… which brings us to the next to-do… 

Grab Some Dessert

Play at The Arcade

Take a short walk down the street to the Morristown Game Vault. This old PNC bank was transformed into an amazing arcade, great for kids and the kids at heart. You will find around 100 of your favorite games, including everything from retro arcade games to modern-day gaming consoles. Forget the coins because you simply pay by wearing a wristband to track your time.
